POSITION: STOCK OPERATIONS MANAGER

ABOUT ONE CIRCLE

One Circle is one of the UKs largest festival and event bar operators, working across 40+ festivals and outdoor events, Alexandra Palace and five of their own venues in London.

THE ROLE

The purpose of the Stock Operations Manager is to oversee and manage the onsite stock operation and stock team on build, break and live event days.

  • Manage all stock activity on-site, including but not limited to - delivery, counting, distribution, live day operations, collections and management of stock team both internal and agency

  • Overseeing site logistics and ensuring Artics are positioned for safe loading and unloading

  • Count, record and reconcile all stock for the event using our Stock Planner for accurate data entry

  • Manage all relevant paperwork e.g. delivery notes, count sheets and transfer slips

  • Work closely with the Stock Planner, Event Manager and Third Party Sponsors to communicate any shortages or issues that may affect the success of the show and provide solutions

  • Manage and audit stock, cups, ice, fruit and gas during live days, checking against the menus to ensure we are set up for success and avoid wastage where possible

  • Be responsible for the security of all One Circle stock, preventing theft and loss of assets

  • Oversee compliance in relation to stock by ensuring temperature checks are completed and food hygiene practices are followed

  • Organise and oversee end of event reconciliation

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in stock management, logistics or operations, ideally in an events or hospitality setting

  • Experience in greenfield sites

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to manage high pressure situations and prioritise tasks effectively, with a problem-solving mindset

  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external staff and suppliers

  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly with data

  • Knowledge of food safety, compliance and health and safety is desirable
